Who Cares Counselling Services
I offer a person centred approach to therapy, to address a wide number of mental health conditions, including; anxiety, depression, confidence building, bereavement and more. Being Person Centred means, that the pace and Intensity of the therapy is managed around the individuals needs.

01.
I offer a one to one, Person Centred approach to therapy. I follow the BACP code of ethics, which means I am fully insured, and have regular supervisions.
I aim to address mild to moderate mental health concerns. I use an integrative approach which means I use aspects from many modalities- such as some art based sessions or incorporating a little CBT -cognitive behavioural therapy. I can offer sessions in sets of six or more, or single one off sessions. I aim to keep a small number of daytime and evening slots available should you wish to see me today.
02.
Counselling can help with managing overwhelming emotions. It can help with, anxiety, bereavement, communication problems, confidence, and self esteem issues, coping with change, dependency, depression, past issues, sadness, separation, transition and life changes, vulnerability, or work-related stress. Therapy can support you to move past difficult events, build confidence, address issues that may be difficult to speak to friends and family about.
I work with anyone over the age of 18. Please get in touch If you would like to find out more.

About counselling
Just making the decision to come for counselling can feel overwhelming to some, and It can also be hard to find someone to speak to. A lot of counselling services have long waiting times making it more difficult to get the support you may need. At Who Cares we aim to speak to you the same day that you make contact.
About
Ahlene Dawson
The subject of mental health has been a great interest to me from a young age, learning about my mind, has been an internal journey, and throughout my personal development, I have asked myself "what is it, to truly experience a healthy mind and soul?"Is it simply to be at peace with yourself, no matter what life throws at you? Or is it to be the best version of ourselves we can be?

I became a Person Centred Therapist, to really understand about the human condition. The Person Centred model really puts the client at the heart of the therapeutic process. I really like the theory that the expert on You- is You!
